Standing out proudly in the hillside above our beautiful wildflower meadow and orchard, the limestone cave systems at Ffynnon Beuno and its neighbour at Cae Gwyn are of International significance as it has been confirmed as being the last occupied European site of Northern European Neanderthals  before their extinction.
